Words in Progress is a workshop series with City of Laredo Poet Laureate, Xiomarra Milann, and the Webb County Heritage Foundation, created for anyone who wants to write, share ideas, try something new, or simply spend time around other creative people.
Maybe you write all the time. Maybe you jot things down every now and then. Maybe you have a story in your head, or maybe you are just a little curious about writing and want to give it a try. You do not need experience, and you do not need to have anything figured out before you walk in.
This is a casual space to write together, exchange ideas, and make room for more stories and voices in Laredo.
Words in Progress begins October 15 at the Villa Antigua Border Heritage Museum. Free and open to the public.
