Webb County Heritage Foundation works to preserve and protect the architectural and cultural character of Laredo and its historic environs. One of the primary ways that WCHF fulfills this mission is through the interpretation of its collections at its two museum sites – The REPUBLIC OF THE RÍO GRANDE®  Museum and the Villa Antigua Border Heritage Museum. By bringing visitors to historic downtown Laredo, these properties serve as unique tourism venues while introducing guests to the WCHF’s outstanding historical collections and visiting shows.
